The Campaign Song
Listen to "Mark Your Ballot for Mark Binder"Clearly running as a politician -- developing a platform giving speeches and sending press releases isn't enough to get attention. I'd have to raise millions of dollars -- or blow something up. Neither of which I'd like to do.
(I did get an email from a wonderful supporter who offered to throw herself out of a cigarette boat in the middle of the Bay and let me rescue her, but I told her that it had been done.)
So now we move into phase IV -- the old timey method. I've decided that instead of running for Congress, I'm going to saunter -- with panache.
Last night I went deep into the woods of Perryville to record the studio version of our new campaign song, "Mark Your Ballot for Mark Binder." You wouldn't think that a one minute and thirty-six second tune would take five hours or production, but Les Miserables and his brother Mo and their sister, Leesta were perfectionists. We hope to have the final version out to the radio stations by Thursday.
